Yes, they do.

Clinical studies have shown that your liver becomes full of toxins over a certain period of time. The resulting fat is due to a backup of those toxins in the liver which render it slower in processing what you eat.

As always, talk to your doctor first before doing this, but it is recommended that you detox at least once a year to flush everything out of your system. Not to be gross, but a healthily detoxed system causes a bowel movement after every meal.

Not sure what kind of cleansing system you are questioning about. If it is an artificial system, more or less it doesn't work and can be harmful to your health in some cases.
I'd recommend healthy food and Yoga as the most efficient way to lose weight.

You will lose weight but only for a while until you start eating again and then your bowels will be full again.
I don't believe this is a wise or useful way to lose weight.
Good healthy eating and exercise as well as finding ways
to work on boosting your self esteem will always help.

They do in conjunction with excercise and proper diet. herbal tea cleansers work the best, and you can supplement the whole process with apple vinegar tablets, which aid the body in more easilly breaking down sugars and fats. it is safe for teens to use, if and only if you use them in moderation (BE RESPONSIBLE!!!!) overuse can cause bowel and bladder problems and dehydration. good luck!!!
