Liability covers the other persons car. Your car is screwed, you must pay for all damages to it yourself. Should always get full coverage insurance just in case its your fault or the other person if there fault does not have insurance. 1-3 people on the road do not have insurance.

Your liability coverage does not cover your vehicle damages ever.

The other drivers liability coverage will cover your vehicle damages if the other driver is at-fault.

If you have collision coverage that would pay for your car damages.

In some states their is a coverage called Uninsured Motorist Property Damage (UMPD) that would also pay for your car damages if the other person is at-fault but has no insurance.

Your own liability does not cover your car. If the accident was not your fault, the liablitiy insurance of the other party will cover your car.

Your liability will not cover it but if the person who hit you had insurance then their bodily injury should cover you medical and their property damage should cover the repairs to your car...if they were not insured or they took off you are out of luck unless you want to sue them and if they cannot afford insurance they prob won't pay up in a court of law either.

I believe the laws vary from state to state, but the other persons liability insurance would cover your car if it is not your fault.

Nope-- liability only covers the damage to the other car or persons in the event it was your fault. Their Liability Insurance covers your damage, unless they don't have any--then you use your "uninsured insurance" or take them to court.

I'm no expert, but I think not. You have to look to the insurance the other party carries. That's exactly what they have liability insurance for. The liability is theirs.

No way.... 3rd party liability insurance only covers the damage YOU do... Not damage done to you......You must claim against the driver who damaged/ injured you.....

Sorry, but no.
However, if there was another vehicle involved int he accident and that driver was at fault, then it is possible to see if the other driver's insurance company will cover damages to your vehicle.
