How come the Germany and the Japanese never fought together in the pacific. I think if the Germanese and Japanese join forces on the battlefield, they might have been a gooder, stronger army. Why General Hitler and the Japanese General didn't work together is the crazyess thing I never heard of! I'm glad that the Armies of the Amercas finally won the wars over there! General George C Scott really help the war effort and bringing it to a close. Good thing he's was on our side of the fence! Don't you agree they should have fought side by side?
If they had, the armies of the amercans might have lost the war.

OK, his English is not the best, but lets just answer the question.

The reason Germany and Japan did not fight together is that Germany had too many fronts in Europe. They were fighting the Russians and British then the US. Germany had too many countries against them.

The Germans and Japan had no chance in in WWII. 1) The US was located to far away for any attack, 2) The US had too much economic power (they controlled the oil in those days, no oil, no running tanks or airplanes) 3) The US and Britain had technology behind them, the A bomb, super subs, RADAR, decoding, etc. 5) Industrial Power, if your industries are not getting bombed every day then you can run your factories 24 hours a day.

These are just some of the reason the Allies won the war, there are many others but these are some of the main ones.

Well, given that Germany and Japan are on opposite sides of the world, it would have been pretty tough logistically to support an army several thousand miles away.

The Germany-Italy-Japan Alliance was barely an alliance. When Germany invaded France, Mussolini found out from the news papers. When Germany invaded Russia, the Japanese were caught off caught and had a council debating whether to support the Germans and invade Russia from the East or strike South East Asia. In the end, the Japanese went against South East Asia since the Germans did not even have the decency to alert them to their plans.

As for German officers in the IJA, theres a language barrier as well as differences in military doctrine and structure. Japan's territories were mostly islands except for Manchuko and Korea. The Germans are surronded by enemies and so have to prepare differently for war.

Even if a German officer were to lead a Japanese army, the lack of tactical sense and favor for banzai charges hurt the IJA more than any American Army. Japanese snipers would hide in trees which leaves shook when they fired. This gave their position away and also trapped the snipers in the trees. Also, take the battle of Guadalcanal, the IJN tried to flank the US Marines by landing a thousand men on the north side of the island. The commander immediately ordered his men into a banzai charge and a thousand specially trained infantry were mowed down in one night by two .30 cals and rifle fire. With such lack of tactical sense, the Japanese were doomed to lose.

Also Japanese logistics were shoddy, the IJA were trying all types of different ammunition. The standard Arisaka rifle was chambered for two different calibers and each caliber had three different types of ammunition, none of which were interchangable.

Inherent flaws in the Japanese Army prevented them from even being on par with the US Marines and Army.

Because they were so far apart from each other...however Germans did supply much information about jet fighters to the Japanese.

Your grammer needs a lot of work... and anyways America would have won no matter what... it wasn't our tactics that won the war... it was our massive economy... we could produce and ship more materials/weapons than any other country..

There is this historical movie... and in it a German general points to a cake which says " Made in Boston". Then he says that is the reason why we are losing the war.

Germany is about as far from Japan as you can get. They had no common ground to fight on, unlike Italy and Germany which did fight together (or rather the Germans supported the Italians).

You might have a point, though. If Japan had attacked the USSR rather than the US, they both might have won. While Germany moved East into Russia, Japan could have moved West through Manchuria. Then they would have had a shared enemy.

There also was no "General George C. Scott".

General WINFIELD Scott served in the Civil War, and George C. Scott portrayed General George S. Patton, but no General George C. Scott.

Germany and Japan, had they won, probably would have fought each other. Hitler was a crazed racist. Enough said.
