DEFINATELY NOT GOING TO WORK. By the way, it's not just your breath you have to worry about. When your body metabolizes alcohol, the smell comes through your pores. (Thats why drunks smell bad, particularly the next day after a rip) Whatever you do, don't think that you can get away with DWI because you ate a peanut butter and pickle sandwich, because the breathalizer will pick it up anyway.

Have you started your diet and exercise program yet?
Alcohol used in alcoholic beverages is odorless. The "fruitylike" smell and odor is added to give the beverage a pleasant smell.
This additive is called a conjoiner. In the case of bourbon, it comes from the wooden casks it is stored in during processing and/or distilling. This fruity odor on your breath comes from the conjoiner.
Alcoholic is metabolized in your lower intestine, not your stomach. The metabolic rate depends on your size and body weight, food content in your stomach, amount of alcohol consumed and the length of time you actually drank. This explains why your blood alcohol level does not actually peak until sometime after you actually stop drinking.
Alcohol is a depressant and short-circuits the signals from your senses to your brain, thereby slowing down your reaction time. It also makes you sleepy and lethargic. This is why you should NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE or operate dangerous equipment. Contrary to what your friends may tell you, it is not cool. It also causes irrepairable damage to the brain, liver and other living cells. This damage is called cirrohsis. Alcohol use causes loss of self esteem, jobs, families, friends and sometimes death. It has absolutely no value and only lasts a very short time.
If you need to "catch a buzz", do something extraordinarily special for someone else and tell no one, EVER. This is a "high" that nothing can touch.

Actually, from my experience, eating onions will kill the alcohol breath, but then you have that dreadful onion breath for like, 2 days.
