I am not so sure that men are attracted to blondes more than other hair colors.....

The traditional label of the "dumb blonde" actually tends to make men either frightened to approach or exactly the opposite, intelligence isn't expected from a blonde...

Although we all know that this is not the case, there are many smart blondes....

I have learned a few things over the last 20 years. Yes some men have preferences as to hair color, but that is superficial....

Since blondes aren't expected to be genious, it often makes their personality more outgoing....My best friend was always a brunetter (except for that one time a salon turned her hair orange, lol).....She got all the attention, and I could never figure out why at the time...???

The answer entire rests with social skills and personality, open, fun and funny....I Have been a bleach blonde since the age of 12, but i was shy....

Much later on a guy I had always wanted to date waited until my mid 30's to tell me that when a girl is blonde and shy, the man immediately assumes she is not friendly and men don't like to strike out.....

Although there are many beautiful women out there, no matter what your hair color, shoulders back for posture and the look of self consciousness, and enjoy yourself. My best friend always got the intention because she was easy to talk too while I was shy.....

I hope this helps....Hair color rarely matters, beauty is in your heart, have fun in life.....Let me know in about 10 yrs how much this helped......

Best of luck....

I've had both blonde and brunette shades and I've found that I tend to dress in a certain manner when blonde and a bit more conservatively when brunette. Nothing conscious, just happens. Weird right. Needless to say, my husband prefers when I'm blonde. LOL

That's easy:
Some (not all men, as some of them below disagree)
Associate blond hair with Californian girls, who are known to be thin, full-busted, and ready for relationships. Heck, we have song after song describing the blond haired, blue eyed beauty from California, so it's not necessarily that they like blondes better, more that from what they've been told by other boys--just a common thought I suppose.

I don't think that anyone that's older is a true blonde. It's probably all dyed hair so guys are dating brunettes anyway.

I have had this conversation with my friend. We both have dated more blondes than brunettes, and both of us actually prefer brunettes.
We came to the consensus that brunette women are often more bitchy and their personalities are what put us off.

It's because most blondes are highlighted blondes. I think people who accentuate their hair in any way, blonde/brunette are more attractive.

I don't think that is necessarily true...Maybe the blonds that you know have a higher self esteem which in turn makes them more appealing to guys.

I don't, I prefer brunettes or redheads over blonde's.
