ok so I asked this question but I will again
I am a 15 year old female I am around 5'6 5'7 I cant remember which one!I recently gained about 10 pounds. yuck! I gained this weight because I stopped all my activities and a few more personal things due to family problems. I loved my body and don’t get me wrong I still like my body. but I want to love it more.. I have long legs and they don’t look as good since I’ve gained the few extra pounds.. I weigh 140 now and I want to weigh 125- on the bmi that is still a healthy weight!
now here is the problem... I am going home in 15 days and I want to look the same as when I left--- in order to do this I need to lose 15 pounds
My mom says that if I eat only when I’m hungry and very small amounts and walk with her everyday for an hour that by the time I leave I will be happy-- but I don’t believe her-- what do you think? is that possible - or is she just saying this to me

please do not tell me that thsi in unhealthy i already know that i just need ways to lose fat
please i knwo its unhealthy dont worry i will nt die or anything just help me with tipe on how to lose this fat quick
and i know i may gain itr back but let me larn teh lesson or who know maybe i wont!! i dont know if iw ill or not but i dont want 2 worry about it now

omg u sound like me exactly! i'm 15, 5'7 and used to weigh 118lbs last year but this year i havent done the same activities and now at 5'7 i weigh 140lbs! and my mother is at my throat too tell me that 120lbs is wat i should weigh! i need to lose too and so far i've been chewing on gum and fulling myself onn water wen i get cravings, i jog in palce, and jump rope, and i eat healthy now like salmon and veggies on the side.. i finally listened to my mother and i so far lost 8lbs from chaning my eating habits and exercising at least so there my advice and good luck =]

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

My concern is that you don't have a healthy mind set. Your concern should be if you are still the same person that people knew before and not be so obsessed with the extra weight. Start going back to your healthy lifestyle now and relax about how long it will take to become fit again-it will happen soon enough and being 15 you have plenty of time.
Doing something drastic or trying fad diets now could set you up for a lifetime of yo-yo dieting.

Well, in 15 days you won't lose 15 pounds. You can lose up to 1-2 Lb Per week that's healthy. I would limit the amount of calories you eat.

Well first of all you are not fat. You may have gained a few pounds that doesn't mean that you are fat there is this diet that you can do that have water lemon juice and tea try that that should help.

eat no more than 10 fat grams a day, and drink lots of water. I usually lose 2-4 lbs a week when I stick to it.

i think that you are way too worried about your body. you are beautiful and if you are too consumed with guilt and worry that you cannot see that, I bet you are missing out on alot more things in life too. life is too short to obsess with your body image. you sound perfectly fine to me. please please please hear me out when i say that you are beautiful the way you are!!! stop worrying ok?
