hey there. i used to be pretty darn thin until i reached the age of about 10 i believe and i have been a little overweight since then. now i have lost all confidence. btw, i am 18 now, going to be 19 in october. around 2 years ago, i was 160 and then i went down to 149 bc i was working out a lot but it was frustrating bc it took me months to get down to 149 in the first place. so then i gave up and gained back the 11 lbs i lost and added 10 more lbs! at that point, i was really depressed bc i went up to 170 lbs and then last year i started just working out a lot again and then i lost a lot and went down to 145 and i was so proud of myself. then i start college and well i gained the "freshmen 15" PLUS TEN again!!! so now im 170 again. i have a bf and he makes me feel like im beautiful but he sees how much it bothers me and when i get back to college he is going to help me lose a lot of weight. but i wanna know what you did to lose weight. i mean people who have lost around 50 pounds!

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

Discuss this issue with your doctor - being obese isn't the healthy way to go regardless of who likes or dislikes the extra weight.
