Most hard alcohols are zero carbs. Beer has lots of carbs. Gin is a good choice if you like the flavor of it. Vodka or tequila would be fine also. Whatever mixer that you like is fine. If you want low carbs ask for sugarless tonic or mixers. Regular tonic is full of sugar and has very high carbs. Sweet liqueurs have carbs in them, the sweeter the more carbs. Baileys would have alot of carbs.

Every alcohol has empty calories. For hard liquor, it's about 80 calories per 1.25 oz serving. Gin is the same as any other liquor. If you add tonic, that is adding a lot of sugar. The only better choice is a drink like rum and diet coke, or any other liquor mixed with a diet soda, which won't have any extra calories from the mixer. But really, if you are on a diet you should avoid alcohol as much as possible.

Well all alcohol contains alcohol which of course will equal into sugars. The end result is carbs. If you are however looking for the best drink with the lowest calories? Any alcohol with low/light mixers. Tonic is good, HOWEVER regular tonic can have 60 calories per serving as opposed to 5 calories per serving for diet tonic. If you are drinking gin, i'd suggest diet tonic, but if you are worries about calories, or carbs, I personally would give up alcohol all together.

Liquor (sure ALL right this moment liquor) is mad up of two and basically 2 issues with very minor impurities. those 2 issues are a million ethanol (the alcohol we drink) and a couple of water. basically the alcohol has energy I forget approximately what share and am kinda inebriated ATM so possibly some much less lazy guy or woman will submit it. So the backside evidence right this moment liquor has the least energy, the different caloric intake in a blended drink come from mixers. If all this makes you ask your self "then how the frack do liquors style so damned distinctive?" the anwser is somewhat hassle-free a million the source of ethanol and a couple of getting old. The ethanol is imparted with the flavors that encompass it, think of of it like tea or espresso basically way much less wholesome and slightly greater relaxing.

Dr. Atkins said that the carbohydrates in alcohol do not create the same effect as food carbohydrates-that is any distilled liqour-gin,vodka,rum,whisky. However, while you are burning alcohol you will not burn fat. Tonic is high in sugar-club soda and lime would be better.

Hm...well I'm not sure if it's the best because I don't know the amount of carbs in it. However, I do know there are low carb beers out there if you wanted something specifically meant to have a lower number of carbs.

Basically all of your hard liquors are going to have about 95 calories per ounce. If you are trying to cut calories then put it with plain water and a twist of lime or lemon....if you want the fizz without calories then try soda water with lemon or lime and your favorite alcohol. Hope this helps.

Make a choice, Amigo: Low carb or alcohol. Most alcohol is distilled from grain, and all alcohol contains carbohydrates.
You simply cannot have it both ways.

np this has just as much calories/carbs as rum/vodka/tequila etc. the more the percentage the alcohol has the more calories it'll have.
