well, they will fade by themselves (or use vitamin E, or whatever other people suggest to fade them faster) but they will always be there. Sorry.

Things that MIGHT work: exfoliants and/or peels. My mom has a scar from childhood that has greatly decreased sense she started treating her skin

Some makeup like products claims to level out skin (like permantly) I think that might work- but I think it is more for birthmarks (I'm thinking maybline- I think)

Going to a doctor- they have techniques for getting rid of it (but it might make it worse and it is expensive) That is probably the only way to get rid of them complelty.

Depending on what kind of scar and where you can use Mederma bought from wal mart or what ever and over time it the scar appears smaller softer and smoother

get vitamin e tabltets crush them than put them in a small amount of water and put it on the scar like a mask

they actually get worse with age
