We only have dial-up acess to internet.No cable or highspeed lines available here and Apple Quick Time sounds like something I can't use. I'm a novice on computer so this may sound silly to some but I'm going to ask anyway.

If your camera supports taking video, you will need the player to watch the video you create.

It's made by Apple, but works on PCs as well.

You can and if that's with the Kodak camera sounds like you need it too. It is a multimedia layer originated from Apple Macintosh but available on Windows too, since it got dibs on multimedia market as Macs edges PC on having multimedia capability earlier.

Kodak could've chosen Windows Media or even others like Intel Indeo as a programming layer but it chose QuickTime so you've got to have it before you can use EasyShare properly.
