I believe in God because He gave me the faith that I have as a gift according to Ephesians 2:8:

8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God

Awesome post Gilbert. It is so very refreshing to see someone believe so strongly who isn't afraid to share what they believe. Be assured the angels are rejoicing and the demons are trembling. Keep advancing the Kingdom! Bless you! Praise God!

I strongly believe in Him too....but the real question I think is....how is that changing our lives? This is how it is changing mine....
I am asking for His wisdom before I speak to my husband.....so that we will not fight.
I am asking for His strength before I eat....so that I will eat the right things and not too much of it.
I am asking for divine appointments...and choosing to get
out of my comfort zone when they come across my path.
They are when I least expect them and not when it is convenient, but are usually when I am hungry and/or tired...and when I am in a hurry.
I am SO MUCH.....a work in progress....but God says "my strength is made perfect in weakness."

I strongly believe in GOD - you strongly believe in the bible -
I strongly beieve that you and I could not agree on much of anything. If you want to hear the voice of GOD, stop thumping on your bible for a minute - shut up and LISTEN.

its not so much beleiving as it is KNOWING. it is a great thing to know something with such certainty that it is so. i am lucky to know Him.
on a different note, i have lerned some appalling facts in my question about scientology. it is odd and scary that even one person would believe this crap. to all of you:YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY MONEY TO TAKE COURSES IN ANY RELIGION. YOU RE BEING MISLED DOWN A BAD PATH, AND JUST THINK IF YOU ARE WRONG.....YOU WILL SUFFER AN ETERNITY, BUT IF YOU ARE RIGHT AND I'M WRONG IN BELIEVING IN GOD, WHAT WILL I LOSE?
ok, i have said my piece
