Well, you'll get a workout, but I wouldn't spend 20 minutes doing them or anything. First, it looks silly. Second, you'll get dizzy as heck.

My mom says that as long as you are moving, it's good exercise. But I would try something else. Find an exercise thats fun for you, and helps you to get good exercise. I just found my fun workout today. My best friend and I went to my Granny's house. We took the bikes down Governor's Run, a road running along the golf course. There was this section that is pretty much the same thing as the course, and its beside the course, but you dont play golf on it. So me and my bff rode down those huge hills and back up again. Going up was really hard, and going down made you move fast. So it was a great work out. And you talk about fun! The best and most fun hill was the biggest one. It was big and really steep, with only one large tree on it. We named it One Tree Hill after the show, and made a tradition thingy. Plus, theres a hole at the bottom, so when you get down there, you have to swerve to miss it, and its so much fun. And it makes you extremely sweaty (good thing) and makes you want water, not sugary drinks. So from now on, I'm gonna ride 2 miles down my street on my bike a day, except Sundays, my rest day. I suggest you try different exercises - aerobic classes, running, walking, bike riding, horse back, organized sports, ect. - and continue to do the one that is the most fun for you. Bike riding was so much fun, me and my best friend did it for hours, was soaking when we were done, and my fam were worried about us. We took the bikes out like 20 times. We found another thing we have in common - we love riding bikes!
Oh, just a little extra. My mom teaches aerobics and her classes (especially Zumba) are so much fun! She knows all about exercise, so she is right when she says any thing you do as long as youre moving is good exercise!
Also, my bff put it this way. I said I was tired. She says, "Well, going up is the hard part. Going down really fast, having fun, and lose muscles are the rewards!'' Find the "hard parts" and "rewards" to your workout! Really made me want to keep going, glad I did!
