I say, whoever agrees with this concept, ought to be the first one to step up to the plate and be euthenized.

I support it about as much as I support all the Christian fundamentalists who claim that 99% of the world will not go to Heaven or be raptured away.
Which is to say, not at all!
From Fox news story-
"Pianka also said he was only trying to warn his audience that disease epidemics have happened before and will happen again if the human population growth isn't contained."

"He said he believes the Earth would be better off if the human population were smaller because fewer natural resources would be consumed and humans wouldn't continue to destroy animal habitats. But he said that doesn't mean he wants most humans to die."
If you would have bothered to read the post on the last website you aould realize that it totally discredits the whole story and paints Mimms, who started the whole controversy by twisting Pianka's words, as a disgruntled creationist. If you look at Fox and ABC websites and search the name you will find a different story. I tend to get my news from mainstream sites since any idiot can post an article on a website (and many do).

Sounds a little fascistic to me.
BTW, ERic Pianka kind of looks like Santa Claus. Why would Santa want to kill all thos people. Maybe so he wouldn't have to deliver so many toys.
I bet Pianka doesn't believe in Santa. If he does I bet he gets coal this year.

Do you think Eric R. Pianka would be willing to begin with his family? Probably not.

If we were to eliminate religion, we would be doing the human race a GREAT flavor!

When there is no longer any such things as:

Catholic church
"Free"masons
Easten Star
Mormons
Jehovah's Witnesses

Just to name a few...Remove the mask that religion has put over the faces--and has blinded their mines--the human race would be more likely to see God Word as He wants them to see it.

i support the elimination of anyone who is vocally religious and feels he/she is superior to someone based simply on his or her choice of religious doctrine. i don't know if that is 90 percent of the human race, but if it is, i'll start sharpening my kitchen knife.

I think that most of us would, as long as we (and all of our friends and loved ones) are part of the remaining 10%.
