yes he gets buried or cremated or whatever his family chooses to do with his remains. Usually when you get a sentance like that, unless its running concurrently (at the same time) after he finishes the first sentence, the second sentence would kick in. This ensures he won't get out of jail.

Several years ago, my step brother (who was a juvenile deliquent from the time he was 5 years old) committed suicide while a prisoner in a jail in Vermont....he was over 21 at the time (23) and they NEVER informed his family (his mother) that her son had died....... they NEVER gave her the option of what to do with her son's body---they cremated him and THEN called her... most prisons will remove the prisoner to a local mortuary, inform the family and have them pick up the body---IF the family doesn't WANT the body---then the State burries him in a prisoners graveyard... My ex-stepmother DID finally get the cremated remains of her son---but it took quite a while....

The purpose of a sentence like this is to ensure that the person never gets out of prison.

honestly the reason they put such a long time on the sentance is to make sure that he will never get out on good behavior or anything. they take the body out after it dies and then stick another body in that same cell

They of course are dead, so they are no longer incarcerated. They simply are turned over to their families or put in a government grave yard.

yeah, thats what american soldiers do....they arent very happy with their women back home.
Wow, if they charge all soldiers who do that, than their wont be any space left for prisons in the US, i think they'll need to mass produce them in iraq.

No, they keep his dead, rotting corpse in a jail cell until he serves his sentence.

Wow, you are not one of the brightest candles on the cake are you?
