my computer at start up it shows both the menu and task bar but after like a minute they dissapear and i already click on the tab for the manu to stay on top of every windows and i checked that i did not have it on auto hide so does any one know some thing that might help me out please

go to the bottom of the screen to see if you get <-> symbol, only in a vertical position... you can pull it back up from there if that is the issue.
otherwise do a Yahoo! search on RESTORING THE TASKBAR or RESTORE WINDOWS TASKBAR
