In some ways I regret it. I was naive in thinking that it wouldn't be that much of a life change. Funny now that I think about it. I regret it and then I don't. The best and worst years of my life.

MEPS will say that they are able to seem up your scientific records yet they are able to't, in spite of the undeniable fact that the CORP can call your wellness care expert and ask in case you're or have ever been on drugs that would desire to disqualify you, and if so, what style and how long. If at MEPS you admit to utilising ADHD drugs including adderall or ritalin you would be disqualified. there is an hazard the CORP will discover it whilst they do your clearance exams, so because it somewhat is as much as you. you get caught mendacity approximately it after enlistment and you're got here across answerable for fradulent enlistment you would be in a worldwide of ****. in case you're going for Scout/Sniper or tension Recon there is an exceedingly stable hazard that they're going to seize it the two throughout the time of your psychological interviews or secure practices clearance exams. the militia sees people who've been on amphetamine drugs as "risky". Recruiters who will inform you to lie will say something to trick you in to starting to be a member of.

I don't regret it at all. Sure when I got to basic I was a little apprehensive but then soon adjusted. My father was in the military, among other members of my family, so I of course got the down low from them. My recruiter never lied or mislead me. And in regards to that, people should be doing a little of their own research beforehand...just as you should want to research anything before signing a contract.

Recruiter never told me a lie.

Regret? REGRET???!!! High school dropout with no chance in hell for a life. Military gave me opportunity to meet Kings and Presidents and see things all over the world that people dream about. Military gave me opportunity for education, HS diploma, Bachelors and Masters. Military gave me unparralleled leadership capability and ability to deal with lifes challenges. Military gave a pension sufficient to live a good life at retirement. Military gave me a son proudly serving freedom at the very moment in Iraq as a career member of the Special Forces whose recruiter also did not lie to him. Military gave me the opportunity to answer a stupid question like yours that obviously seeks some kind of degrogative statements about our nation's heroes. Let me ask you a question?

Don't you regret not making the military a career instead of sitting at home lonely typing on a computer screen trying to insult America's finest?????????

Why would I regret doing something about 9-11. Why would I regret getting paid to jump from planes. Also I am a reservist, after 4 years active duty, why would I regret having my entire education paid for? No I do not regret and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I dont regret it one bit. i joined the army to make a better life for myself. though my asvab scores were thru the roof in math, they didnt tell me everything about my MOS (13Foxtrot) all they told me was i was gonna blow stuff up. and after AIT I loved what i chose and was going to make a living out of it. though after being injured in Iraq in 05, and losing an eye. it wasnt possible i still keep my FM 3-09.30 ( also known by the old school forward observers as the 6-30) on my coffee table for guests to read and realize what i did for my country. I read it myself 2 times a week just to keep the memory of what i have done in my army carrear alive. NO REGRETS!!!!!!!!! in fact I wish i could do it again!!!!!!!!!!

My recruiter streached the truth quite a bit, but you know what? The 6 years I spent in the Marines were the 6 best of my life, and if I hadn't gotten into that stupid car accident, I would still be there.

Took the oath twice. No regrets.

In 1976 that was the line on the re-up posters. Went something like "Of course they lie"
