I have little red bumps on my arms. I was wondering what it was? How do you get rid of it?

AUUUURGHHHH!!!!!

i have that too, as soon as i read your question, i totally thought i knew what you were talking about!

are they like little zits on the top of your arm, by your shoulder? their pretty small, but there's a lot of them grouped together? kinda like red goose bumps?

if not, then uhmm sorry, idk what you have!
but if so, i have them too!!

i asked my doctor about it and he gave me a really long name.. he said he had it too, really bad.. i would have remembered the name but i figured it was useless because he said that there's nothing you can do with them to get rid of them, once you grow older, they'll start to fade away. i put calmine lotion once a week before i go to bed [i've been doing it for a year] and it seems to help a LITTLE bit but there's no way to get rid of them, they just seem a little bit smaller! don't worry - it's pretty common, i've realized there are 6 girls in my grade with that problem, so yeah!

anyways i hope i helped, sorry if i totally didn't describe what i think you have! but i hope i did!! :) :)

If they've been there your whole life, then I would say it's probably rosacia (not really sure how to spell it), and applying Hydrocortizone cream (which can be purchased over the counter) to your arms should help. If not, then the doctor can prescribe Ellavil, or another type of topical cream to help smooth them out and/or make them disappear. If the rash came up recently, then you may need to see a doctor.

Are they itchy? If so, it could be an allergic reaction. I know a few people who get this every summer from the sun. Usually on their arms.

If this is what you suspect, here are a few things to try...

Wear lots of high-protection sun screen every day.
Avoid long periods in the sun.
Washing with an oatmeal-based soap sometimes helps.
Don't scratch! That seems to make them more itchy and spread.

Hope this helps!

It could be a rash or it could be an area that needs some light exfoliation to soften the skin, that is if it isn't a rash from something.

keratosis pilaris "chicken skin"
unfortunately you cant get rid of it completely. you should try exfoliating lotions. sometimes it gets better with age.

We would at least need a picture. If you can't send one, look it up under rash pictures.
