Yes. I've done this lots of times for people as a pet sitter. She'll be happier at home than in a kennel. Just make sure the person you have is reliable and have a back up plan in case that person gets sick or something.

I've done this before for 2 weeks max but I wouldn't do it any longer because poor kitty might get too sad and lonely and I'd be worried about how committed the carer is. A month is a long time for someone to visiting every day without fail. If it was me, I'd find that a real drag. Can the person take kitty home to stay with them, but locked inside of course, for a month instead?

Technically yes, the cat can be left alone for 30 days, but you must be absolutely sure the person you are entrusting to check on you cat daily is responsible. Maybe the person could take the cat to his/her house and look after it or maybe you can get more than one person to check on your cat and they can take turns coming by. But by all means leave phone numbers where you can be reached and tell the person if something comes up and they can't check on your cat to call you so you can make other arrangements and if you can't find anyone else to check on the cat, please tell whom ever is looking after it to take the cat to the vet to be boarded. You can call the vet and tell him that someone might be bringing your cat in during your absence and to board him until your return. This might be costly but I'd rather pay for boarding than come home to a dead cat.

If you're really sure on who's the person that go in your home for visiting it, yes; on the other hand, no, absolutely. We've two cats here in Sardinia and we've not never left alone for more than one day.

As long as the person you are letting care for her daily is cleaning her litter box, feeding her, giving her fresh water, and attention. Cats are naturally self reliant and keep themselves entertained.

It can but i wouldnt reccomend it. the cat may get attached to the person looking after it and may not respond to you as well. Plus they need a lot of attention!
