Both guys above me are correct. Some fights you will see wingspan, fingertip to fingertip, and some you will see armpit to the end of the fist. HBO uses the armpit to the end of the fist so it is becoming more and more popular. Wingspan used to be used by most but is being utilized less nowadays. I believe they should use both. Since wingspan and armlength measures two different things, I would like to see both measurements to get and idea of armlength compared to the broadness of the back in the wingspan measurement.
