This is like asking "would you reach into a toilet in order to keep from losing several hundred dollars (I'm assuming you mean prescription glasses)?"

Of course I would. I mean, come on, there's a sink right in that room. I can wash my hands off right there and then.

First of all I am so anal (pun intended) about public restrooms, I carry a zip-lock bag with Clorox wipes in them and I wipe the toilets down before I use them, I also look at every toilet before I use it, even if there is just toilet paper in it I won't use it therefore if I drop my glasses in a toilet the $hit in there is my own, so yeah I'd fish them out wash my hands wash the glasses and then sanitize them with my clorox wipes

I assume it's your own poop. Yes, I'd get them out. I'd take loads of toilet paper or hand towels and get it. Or if in a restuarant, ask for something to fish them out, like tongs or a fork. But I would get my $300 glasses out of a poopy tiolet. Even a watch or cell phone.

yeah, just do it. wait, did you already get them out or did you leave them? or are you sitting in a bathroom, on the toilet, right now, asking this question?

in any case, just get them out. but make sure to replace the nose pads because those are quite porous. and obviously, wash them with soap and water. don't try any severe chemicals because they will ruin the lenses.

wash your hands!

Been there. I dropped mine in the ceramic alter and NO,it wasn't worth it to stick my hand in there to get them out. Luckily I carry a spare in my car.

Glasses are VERY EXPENSIVE!! (Thank god for lasik surgery!) It would suck, but yes I would. Maybe using a pencil or something to fish them out. I would take them to the sink and SCRUB THEM CLEAN with hot water and soap for a few minutes and then take out my handy-dandy hand sanitizer (which I take with me everywhere) and sanitize them.

Considering that mine cost me well over $200, and I don't have that kind of money to flush down the tube (literally), I have to fish them out of there.

Lysol to the rescue!

Mine cost me $500.00, it would be worth it, you can always use soap and water and make them and your hands squeaky clean again. Better to not use a public bathroom that is nasty.
