If God created time, then God is not subject to time. If time does not exist in heaven, then am I already there?
Stick with me....my grandfather died 15 years ago...my father died two years ago...if eternity knows no time, did my father arrive in heaven the same time my grandfather did...and if so, am I there too?

I am a believer and I am not baiting anyone. I guess I am trying to wrap my mind around eternity.
Blessings!

You are still subject to time.
Eternity is another sphere of existence that is not subject to time as we know it, yet there is time in heaven as disclosed by this verse:
"When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."
Revelation 8:1

As profound as this question is I would still like to try and answer but I am stumped. I can say that once on an episode of (Touched by an Angel) there is a mean older gentlemen in a restaurant and while eating he began to choke. As he was choking while looking at Adam one of the characters who plays the Angel of Death, he in our realm is wearing black. As the man passes from this realm to the other the Angel of Death is wearing white. So are Monica and Tess two other characters in the show that play Angels. I realize it was just a show but doesn't it make you think. Only God knows the real answer to your question.

Time does exist and we are all subject to it, God has constantly said in the bible that he has an appointed time for his purposes. some are accomplished some are yet to be fulfilled.
what is hard to believe is that there is no beginning and no end to time.whether you are here or not.
We have a beginning as humans and eventual death so are minds are stuck on the concept of a beginning and end because of our mortality.
when we achieve everlasting life are minds will not relate to time as something negative or misunderstood.
look up the word "time" in a bible concordance or a bible index. see how many scriptures about time there are in the bible. then look up the ones God and Jesus used in there words.
Thats funny i got this wierd Dejavu feeling.

I'm guessing that because of our genetic relationship, I'm expected to answer this...no matter what anyone tells you, you'll always believe what you believe...so sure! why not! (Rosie is there too, along with Isha, Princess, Robear, Brandy, Spartacus the Unkillable Goldfish and all the tankmates he outlived.)

Yes you are. Time only exists in the 3rd dimension, and time is only necessary when you are experiencing with your mind and senses. You are now at one with your mind and are experiencing time frames in sequence, when you no longer have a mind, you will be at one with all things including the past, present, and future.

You can't say that anyone ever "arrived", because there was no time to arrive at. Nothing ever changes in a place where no time exists, because change requires time. At least, nothing changes in a way that we'd understand it.
Make sense?

I think you're already there. What a cool concept. It's all about this instant and everything happens simultaneously, even 'time'. Everything revolves around everything- everything's happening right now, everywhere. So seize the day. You're already there. :)

No you are not there yet. And they haven't made it there yet either. They have to wait for judgement day just like everyone else.
Sorry for your lose.
