This ia question i got to ask, mY younger bother thinks he knows better and smart talks to convince me other wise and proves me the wrong one all the time he has been putting me down enought my Brother has a big mouth if i tell anything he blabs it to the neightbourhood and it comes back to me and pushed down for it like my nightmares i told him and he go's and tells them that i wet the bed when i don't im fricken 17! my brother is 12 he thinks he can over power me! anything i wanted to do with my dad or at least help out my brother steps in and says he can do better i let him so he doesn't whine about it im getting tired it and i want it to end

whipped his ***, then take ur punishment from ur parent, then whoop his *** again n then take ur punishment from ur parent, do this over n over again till he understand that u will whoop his *** no matter what ur parents do to you, it will get him to shut his little annoying pie hole

i think that what your brother REALLY WANTS is your attention... and he doesn't care what kind of attention he gets from you.....
he probably thinks you are the best thing since sliced bread, but he doesn't know how to get positive attention -- so he acts out and causes trouble.
you could try something -- even if it's difficult may be worth an effort on your part, so here goes --
do some things with your brother... take the time out to do a couple things HE likes and see if his attitude starts to change... if his attitude starts to change after a few times, you could let him know you will be glad to do something together a couple times a week, if you two can start respecting each other more.
you could do things like play basketball, a game, teach him a card game, go bike riding... include him once in a while with an activity you do with a friend...
you don't have to spend all day with him, but i think he'd like an hour or two once in a while.
this just might change his attitude.. it's worth a shot. take care

I was the younger brother to 2 older brothers and i did pretty much what yours is doing....heres what mine did to me... if i had friends over they embarass mei.e if he has white sheets put yellow food coloring on them...wets the bed and make sure his freind sees it and tell him later if he dont stop it only gets worse...tell everyone he wets the bed after all his friend can vouch that he seen the stain. Eventully he will stop. I also had things hidden from me that were important to me. Basically what im saying go to his level fight fire with fire.

Sounds like he's screaming for attention - whatever way he can get it. For some reason, I bet he feels like he's inferior...so he spend all his time proving/screaming (figuratively) that he's not. Any idea why that could be? What does your Dad have to say about the situation?

Younger siblings exist to drive older siblings nuts. I'm a middle child, so I know what's up lol. Nothing you can do, unless you scare him of course.
