Whether you believe all this will end soon or not, if it doesn't how do you think it will be like in the year 3000.

Do you think religion will still be here, if so do you think they'll be anything like todays?

Everybody who is alive will know Jesus. He will be reigning during the Millennium. We ought to be getting lose the the end of the world then.

I would expect that after the year 3000, the New Heaven and New Earth will have been created. New Jerusalem will stand 1500 miles high, by 1500 miles by 1500 miles wide.

I think christians will be still preaching that the end of the world is near but instead of reading the new testament they will be reading a 3rd part of the bible that a few kooks will write and christians will be writing the new testament off as out of date like they seem to do with the old testament now.

A few of the books names will be as follows.....

The book og LUKE perry
The book of TIMMOTHY leary
The book of PETER griffin
The book of hey JUDE
The book of REVELATIONS #9

Man, in his continual emotion of fear, has built more & greater weapons of destruction each time an individual or groups 'confront' the previous weapon, as is 'religion'.
My hope is, that in the yr 3000, mankind has 'confronted' that which 'is' hence, 'with what can we be threatened or controlled with?'

If we do not destroy ourselves through nuclear war, environmental contamination or some other method, these are some condition I think will be reality for 3007:

The line between man and machine will be blurred. Most people will be cyborgs who use cybernetics and nanatechnology to improve their physical and intellectual capabilities to the point where they will be unrecognizble to modern humans.

Those who do not assimilate to cybernetics will be inferior. They will likely form some type of subculture that operates outside of the mainstream. But they will lack the means to mount any kind of revolution.

Mandatory nueronal implants will regulate behavior, making people much less emotional and reducing crime and unemployment to near zero.

The human race will continue to increase its population, which will promote us to colonize space. Mars and Europa are likely destinations.

The current system of education will be obsolete. The knowledge that would take years of college to acquire in today's world will be uploaded to your brain in minutes. This will result in people entering the workforce long before they reach physical maturity. In order to limit consumption, physical development may be stopped in childhood or early adolescence.

The goverment will entirely totalitarian, controlling everything from education to business to information. But the goverment will be so efficient at providing for society that there will be no revolutions.

Humans will have come into contact with extraterestrial life, some which is superior to us and some of which is inferior to us. Instastellar alliances and rivalries will control the balance of power.

As for religion, it will exist among the aformentioned subculture, but it will be totally obsolete in mainsteam society. Although, the slavish loyalty to goverment will be like religion.

I think all religions will build a giant blender and fill it with peas. When the blender starts up we can all join hands giving thanks to God and knowing for the first time we truly have 'Whirled Peas'.

I so hope that religion will be gone.

It is my contention that we can believe in a God but not a religion.

I think by then there will be proof one way or the other.

I think there will be a lot less people because of disease and war.
