And in it i had a pet fox, he was very cute, a little like a puppy.

Then today while driving home i saw one cross the road, i had to step on the brakes so fast!

Anyways do you think this "means" anything or are dreams just dreams?

the fox crossing the road today could have been a coincidence but i think your dream means that there is a project of some sort that you are fond of that you have some doubts about or maybe someone you know who is a little sly that you think needs to watch out. our dreams don't always make sense to us but it is our inner mind processing the info that we receive every day. sometimes its nonsense but i watch mine because they always have a meaning to me

To see a fox lurking about in your dream, represents cleverness and resourcefulness. You need to use your insight and intellect to solve some problem. Perhaps you need to conceal your thoughts and/or remain silent. Alternatively, it indicates a period of isolation or loneliness. It is a good way for you to use this time to reflect.

To see a puppy in your dream, symbolizes your playfulness and carefree nature. It also represents a blossoming friendship or that your friendships will grow stronger.

To see a dog in your dream, indicate a skill that you have ignored or forgotten, but needs to be activated. Alternatively, dogs may symbolize intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed. If the dog is vicious and/or growling, then it signifies some inner conflict within yourself. It may indicate betrayal and untrustworthiness. If the dog is dead or dying, then it indicates a loss of a good friend. Alternatively, it represents a deterioration of your instincts. Also consider common notions associated with the word dog, such as loyalty ("man's best friend") and to be "treated like a dog".

To see a happily barking dog in your dream, symbolizes pleasures and much social activity. If the dog is barking ferociously, then it represents your habit of unnecessary barking at people and the situations around you. It could also mean unfriendly companions. To dream that a dog bites your on the leg, suggests that you have lost your ability to balance aspects of your life. You may be hesitant in approaching a new situation or have no desire to move forward with your goals.

Mostly dreams are just dreams. This dream, I would say, was a pretty good coincidence. Does it mean anything? No, because there was no way for you to change your actions to prevent your worries from coming true.

Some dreams are more than dreams. When you have one, you will know.
