When I click on a link a new window will not open?

It use to be fine, now it freezes the computer instantly. I know a new window should open becuase I use some same sites. If I install firefox, do I have to uninstall IE7?

Turn off the pop-up blocker.

If you are using XP,Follow the path shown.

ControlPanel->Network and Internet Connection->Internet Options->General->'Tabs' section->Settings->Open links from other programs in->click to 'A new window'->ok

It will work.

No need to uninstall IE7 for installing firefox
