Should I write back to YA and tell them I don't understand why it's a violation? Or should I just forget about it?

I also wrote 'thanks everyone, I luv ya' bc everyone was being nice and asking how I was , too. Is it against the rules to say 'I luv ya'?

You got a violation because someone is petty and reported you. technically, it is against the TOS.

If that is a part of a larger question or answer. Then it is ok. But if it is the question by itself, it should belong in e-mail, or yahoo chat or yahoo messenger.

Remember the http://answers.yahoo.com page says
ASK, if you can't find with search
ANSWER, Share knowledge, Help others, Earn points
DISCOVER, see what others people are saying in

If your question or answer does not belong in this category, may be that was considered violation. It is not fair to me to ask someone I know on yahoo "Hey how are you?" when I can write an e-mail, text, or IM or Chat with them. Would you ask question to your best friend or communicate a personal note in a BILLBOARD or a Message board in university?? NO, it is same as Yahoo answers. Hope this helps.

Well ,first off: Hey how are you?...I am well...By the way,Luv ya...Ok ,now let's just see what happens.

...hold up,there's a knock at the door...uh.oh..oh no.. there's a black van, with Yahoo enforcement enscribed on the side and weapon yielding men, with black hoods, scurrying out of the side and back doors....I guess I must have smarted off, once too much.

I think I hold the record for having anwsers deleted...I think that it is ridiculious to be honest with you. I wonder if they send every one as many violation notices as they send me, or is it just the people who speak the truth. I called a guy an idiot one time and they deleted it (that guy had it coming, as a matter of fact, if I could have gotten my hands on him, he would have had a beat ***!!)

This is a place for asking questions, sharing knowledge. If yo want to chit chat, yahoo has plenty of chat rooms for you.

I don't know. A guy just asked that on here. I'm guessing someone one had a bee in their bonnet and reported you for the heck of it. I'd just forget about it because I really doubt they actually read any of the protests or even care.

It's classified as "chatting" and against Yahoo's terms. Learn from it and carry on with your questions and answers. :)

Because it isn't to be used as a message board or chat, and that's technically chatting.

Write them- & find out why. Maybe you were insulting someone in their Native Language- & you didn't realise it! :0
