right click on the file and "send to"... the drive letter for your cd burner.
after you have done that, click on the bubble that comes up in your task bar saying you have files waiting to be written. Follow the steps ahead and it's done.

Yep. Senza hit it on the head. Save the file to My Documents folder the right click it and send to CD. Most CD's now hold 700mb of info. So you can add several docs to a cd unless they are VERY large. Use A CD-RW if you want to be able to Rewrite the CD Later. You can add to existing files on the cd once it is burnt but you cannot rewrite a regular CD.

You simply drag and drop the file(s) onto the CD drive in Windows Explorer.
(Is it too obvious to say that you should put a writeable or rewritable CD in the CD writing drive first?)

place a blank cd into the drive and drag the file to the cd and it will copy it onto the cd

put the CD in the drive, then drag the file onto the open folder showing the contents of the CD (it should open when you put the CD in), and if it doesnt, drag it into the drive in "My Computer" that contains the blank CD.
