So many people look and wait so long for that "special someone" to come along, but their eyes still roam as if they are still looking.

Our industrialized society relies on keeping people dissatisfied so that more, better, newer things can be marketed to them.

The problem is that this sense of dissatisfaction spills over to other areas, where it doesn't apply, such as personal relationships.

So for some people, their parents weren't good enough, their lovers aren't good enough, their children won't be good enough . . .

They are constantly looking at someone else's people and wishing for something different.

I don't know your situation but you can't stop people from looking. That's just human nature you have to be secure within yourself in order to be able to deal with it. Do you walk around and look at the ground all day? Probably not. Do you still look at people and think wow that's a nice looking person. Looking doesn't mean they will run and jump in the bed with the people and even if they do guess what get ride of them so you can get someone that will treat you better.

There are many reasons for someone to look elsewere. Are they sure that they are with the perfect person? Are they unhappy with another part of their life? Are they use to close relationships?

Its going to vary from person to person, i suggest you ask them why? You might get a straight answer, you may get the run around. But its going to be so person specific that no one could say but them.

Because as humans were are never satisfied we always want more or something better. Even if you have a great thing going on its not enough and maybe you need to evaluate your self as a person.

They do want that special someone but they also want more than one person. Kind of like money. One is just not enough for them.

Either they are just really stupid or..

they could be afraid that they will be rejected and they feel they have a need to use another person as a saftey net.
