I admire a variety of people; religion isn't a criteria. My parents are both Christian. My sister can best be described as Agnostic. I myself am an Atheist.
My best friend in life is Christian, and he was also the Best Man at my wedding. My wife is Wiccan.
On these threads, however, I deeply admire Kallan (who is self-described as a practicing Celtic Witch), and also Gorgeous Vile Temptress--formerly known as Gorgeoustxwoman--is a member on my contacts list whom I am extremely honored to have there. Gorgeous is not a member of an establishment, but she is also not an Atheist, and I'm assuming that you're looking for examples of open-mindedness.

I admire my high school sweetheart, who was an atheist. I don't know if he still is. We dated for about a year. Nicest guy I've ever known. Generious and gracious and a pure gentleman. We had some talks about God. We respected each other and had lots of fun together.

John Kennedy was not bad for a Catholic. Fidel Castro makes a good atheist.
George Bush is a good example of a guy in the middle somewhere, but I certainly don't admire him.

Wicca: Very loving, accepting faith. It serves the applications a faith might desire to, to set a stable set of morals, no longer one ridden with racism, sexism, and homophobia, to unite a team of persons, and to offer fake wish in a stable afterlife. (Summerland, after which you're despatched off on your next existence.) It additionally makes human beings sense useful and helpful by using possibility loose spells. I additionally do no longer minde LaVeyan Satanism, Reform Judaism, or Buddhism.

I am Christian.
Madalyn O'Hair. I used to watch her on T.V. She was quite an amazing grandma, she really held her own with the television evangelists. It seemed to surprize the religious leaders as much as it surprized me.
When she disappeared with her son and granddaughter I noticed that no one really seemed to care. Years later they found out they were murdered.
