what a wonderful idea! I might have to steal that one! LOL. Unfortunately I didn't grow up with very intellectual parents and never recieved any words of wisdom. The only thing I do rememebr is my dad saying..."The squeeky wheel gets the oil" translation: People are not mind readers, speak up. Whatever it maybe. Always speak whats on your mind. Never be a follower, no matter how much you are pressured to follow. Give your body more credit, our bodies know when something isn't right. Our minds know when something isn't right. Its called your jiminey....jiminey cricket that is (lol) Always trust your inner voice and your heart, they won't fail you! Do unto others as you want done to you. It may not work at all times, but it will work when it matters most.

Hey you don't have to be down, I don't have a daughter yet, but having one is the most beautiful gift you can have. So a scrapebook will be great, increases her vocabulary and you teaches her how to become a queen. Hopefully my wife and I will have one soon. So that's a good thing.

P.S. Happy birthday to your daughter.

Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change. It takes more muscles and energy to frown than to smile.

Those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter.

Always remember the life lessons you learned in kindergarten- remember to share, say please and thank you, be respectful, don't take what isn't youres, say your sorry when you do somethign wrong, don't make a promise you can't keep, listen with your ears and see with your eyes and if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.

Smile at people when you walk down the hallway. You never know who's day you'll make by doing so and chances are, they'll smile back.

Good idea on the Words of wisdom.

Stand up for what you believe even if your standing alone.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

It's easy to be nasty, it's nicer to be nice.

It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

Ask for help when you need it, no-one can help if they don't know about your problems.

A problem shared is a problem halved.

Be good to your friends.

Don't spend more than you have, always save a little money for emergencies.

PS Happy birthday to your daughter!

My daughter showed me where years ago I had written to always take your problems to the "greatest problem solver of all times, God". She is 40 now and got teary eyed when she showed me and said she had done exactly that! Good luck
