I got these 3 mixed labs from an aunt for free. As it turns out, they are very sickly. One became hospitalized and the 3 had bad stomachs. After a few weeks, I thought that they were healthy again. But then I noticed the 2 were getting skinnier.... I was planning to take them to the vet tomorrow b'cos there's no vet today. Then one of my puppy was screaming, I saw that his left front paw was involuntarily moving, is this a sign of seizure or not? If not, what is this? How can I lessen the pain? By the way, I've noticed this with another puppy. Her front paw is involuntary moving too but it's still not as worse as the other. Is this infectious b'cos the 3rd puppy has no sign of it yet. I'm afraid she might catch it as well. Help pls I'm worried about them.

All vets have an emergency number. Call around and listen to the answering machines. They are required to either give you a number to reach the on-call person or a number to the nearest emergency vet. There are 24 hour emergency vets in most areas. Sorry but if the poor puppy is screaming in pain there is nothing that will help it other than seeing a vet NOW. I don't know that they're having seizures but definitely at least tremors and they need to see a vet now.

Have the puppies eaten at all? It's very important to get soft, watery food In them. Try using a syringe to do this. If these puppies have not gotten enough food In them, they could be suffering from a sugar attack known as Hypoglycemia. This can cause their eyes, paws and legs to twitch.

Above all this, I HIGHLY recommend you finding a 24 Animal Hospital In your area.
This can be deadly If not treated by A doc.
The more you make these Innocent, sweet puppies wait, the more you are pushing them towards death. Please take them to your local Vet and or 24 hour hospital. If you need help finding one In your area, please email me and I will be glad to help you.

God Bless them sweet babies!!

the signs you are describing aren't very specific. it could be many diseases. if it is infectious, then separating the the 3rd puppy now probally won't matter because she has probally been exposed it it already. They really need to be seen by a vet asap. puppies can go down hill very fast. look up an emergency clinic.

I have no idea what is causing this. All vets by law must have emergency numbers--call your vet or look up the nearest emergency hospital. This could be anything!
