Your claim is absolutly absurd! It borders on the fringes of a fanatical militant!

This is a strange juxtaposition of terms, but not a new one. The ancient Romans, who were pagans with multiple "gods" and "goddesses", also considered the Christians "athiests" because they (the Christians) rejected the existence of the Roman Pantheon. The term was technically incorrect then AND now: "atheist" means "no gods", not "only one God". By rejecting the Islamic "Allah", I do not become an atheist. I am still a monotheist.
Why am I a Christian? Because I am convinced of the truth about Jesus Christ, the manifestation of the One True God, the Saviour of the World, the Redeemer of Mankind.
Why do I reject the message of Mohammed? Because it repudiates the message of Christ. It is not a mere "re-sending" of information about Jesus, it is a reversal! The message of Mohammed is based on a lying spirit. I will never accept it!

By definition an atheist claims there is no god, so you cannot be a Christian atheist. To a follower of Islam, you may be considered an infidel for not being a follower of Allah, but not an atheist, as you have a belief in God, just not theirs.

Although ISLAM holds that all children are automatically Muslim, not every religion would agree. If a child learns about Christianity, Judaism or one of the Pagan religions BEFORE they hear of Islam they have not left what they believe to be their original religion. They have grown up in their 'original' religon. Given a choice between Islam and the religion I am in now, I would not become Islamic -- although I am a Servent of the Divine through my service to MY Gods. They have called me and I honor that call. Salaam

An atheist believes in no gods. We don't select specific ones like the Christian god. We give them all the same non-air time.

this made no sense. if you are an atheist you are, by logic, not a christian, islam, jew, wiccan, or any other believe that involves a deity.

This question is smarmy with a capital S.
I wish my fellow atheists weren't so trite sometimes.
But then, i guess we were all teenagers once. :)
Good show lad!

By denying ONE god, one does not become an atheist.
An atheist denies ALL gods.
