Ever since I was little, I wanted to be a Vet. Now that Im older though, I have been thinking about other carrers that work with animals, like wildlife rehabilitation or working to help animals that have been abused and persecuting their neglectful owners. I still want to be a vetrinarian but im worried that I wont be able to deal with the blodd. Would I get used to it? Give me your opinion.

I would say, you definitely should look into other options if the sight of blood makes you queezy. I would give the wildlife rehab centers in your area a call, tell them you would like to come in for an 'informational interview,' let them know your age and tell them you are looking at careers. They will likely let you come in and talk to them about the possibilities...not at their company perhaps, but at the industry in general. Also, you might want to apply for a part-time job where you would have the opportunity to work with animals. Even if you are just doing clean up work. Exposure in the area you are interested in is always helpful and will be even more helpful in the future.

Good luck. Hope this helps.

you are very sensitive,if you become a vet over a period of time you will get used to all the blood and stench asociated with it.i do not how old you are.if you have missed the bus then i would suggest take the alternative options,if you still like the job then you can pursue your career as vet.think wisely bcoz you cannot further waste your time

If you arent sure if you can deal with the blood, volunteer at a shelter, they are always looking for help.
I would say to buck up, and become a vet, because they get PAID.

It depends if blood makes you faint, you won't be able to handle it. And it depends on if you would be able to handle seeing some animals die. But think of all the rewarding experiences that a Vet will have, plus they make great money.

You could practice as a vet assistant, easy schooling and you get to see how being a vet is without becoming one yet.

You should sign up at http://einos.notlong.com

You get paid to take free surveys and refer others to do the same. Last month I earned $200 just doing free surveys. You get $3 just for signing up and the minimum payout is only $15... That means you just have to earn $12 to get your first check and see that it's legit for yourself!

It's not a get rich quick scheme or a scam, just a way to earn some extra cash in your spare time. I hope this helps :) Good luck in your money-making quest.

This is a sure way to tell, what you can handle.

Go to a vet, explain your problem and see if he/she would allow you to work with him/her in an operating room or let you watch a few operations.
