Well if I were you. I would try anyways you never know. If you still have charges wait till they clear up. I would also ask the judge if he would waive the crimes away or something to that affect if you join the military. and change your life. Also how old are they the charges, that is important too. If it just happened give it a few years then try because even though it has been said "they are not desperate" they are. They need people to fight the war. Hell you can now join at 39. We are spread so thin as armies go. anyways the Dui is no big deal on its own and some proof that you cleaned up and don't drink. But stealing shows you cant be trusted. So they mite frown on that. Try and explain what you stoled and why, try and make it sound immature and that you have changed your ways. it was such a small amount of money, under 300 dollars it may be no big deal. But i would not plan on being a spy or a person with high clearance they really scrutinize your past life it must almost be perfect. anyways hope that helps

depends on how long ago they occurred, esp. the DUI. But your problem is that you have multiple charges for the same thing.. meaning you didn't learn your lesson. You face an uphill battle.

Marines are less likely to grant a waiver. Army or National Guard MIGHT.

that is getting on the ingredient of the initiating of the recent economic 365 days. That reported, you go with diverse waivers: one for each misdemeanor. you're waiting a at the same time as. And specific, you are going to would desire to get off probation before a recruiter would even touch you.

Doesn't take an attorney as it would one with common sense to assume that anyone with a "rap" sheet like this, be the charges active or served: Have the same chances of being welcomed in the US Marine Corps as one would solving Earth's problems in one week---making them work, thus saving the planet.

Bottom line: Chances akin to impossible.

Assuming are still pending, you need to talk to your attorney immediately. If you are still on probation for any of those charges, you need to talk to your attorney or your probation officer immediately.

It is my experience that the armed forces will not take anyone who is still under the supervision of a court. Depending on the disposition of your cases, there may be a waiting period to enlist.

If you are 28 and about to turn 29, it will be more difficult to convince the courts to give weight to your apparently sudden desire to join the military.

with a rap sheet like that, Jesus probably couldnt get you in. I know the Marines, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard will outright reject you. The Army sometimes will grant waivers, but I doubt even they are that desperate.

I was waviered for a lot less and it was pretty hard. I had to get police records, with signatures stating all my fines were paid, I owed no community or jail time to the court. Your recruiter needs to have a good reason to except you with his supervisor or it will never happen. Your age is starting to become a factor as well....Best of Luck
