What can I use to clean my tile floor with that won't hurt my cat, especially if he walks on it while it's wet?
My house is 90% tile, and he's strictly an indoor cat.
thanks!

Well, Swiffer products are safe. It is an urban legend that they are not safe. You can try and confine him to one room while it dries, but I know how hard that is. A fan sometimes can be used to speed up the drying.

i'm beneficial it's going to be rather confusing to try this, yet grab a pair of gloves (or some style of mittens which will guard your arms and hands), a towel, and a few sunrise dish cleansing soap. on your sink (the two bathing room or kitchen) replenish the sink with medium-heat water (a splash warmer than you will placed a splash one in, yet no longer some thing scalding like an grownup would take for a tub). considering the fact that i'm beneficial your cat won't like this, the gloves will are available obtainable as you or your husband holds him, and the different washes his butt interior the water. purely slip him in part way, until you will decide to grant him an entire tub then circulate forward! make beneficial however that his butt gets soaked, placed a splash cleansing soap on your hand, and scrub away! With the warmth water and cleansing soap, it might come proper out, that is purely a splash confusing.

Cats don't like the smell of ammonia, and you should avoid disinfectants with phenols, like Lysol. Swiffer sweepers are fine, there was an Internet myth that the spray in the Swiffer Wet Jet was toxic to pets, as well as Febreze spray being harmful, both are totally bogus.

Make sure the cat does not walk on the floor, no matter what you use. Cats lick themselves all the time. I don't think you would want any type of chemical to be ingested into their system because there can always be long term effects.

Bleach - I used to work for an animal shelter and we used bleach on every thing ... including the dishes.

Somebody said "swifter" which I dont know if its safe or not but its made by "Proctor & Gamble" the same company that is notoriously linked to cruel animal testing (oddly enough they also now own Iams and Eukanuba)
