Edward m, you've got it all wrong. The Senate didn't like it, and the people weren't to wild about it either. But the President, Wilson, loved the idea. In fact it was his14 points that the League of Nations was founded on. Article 14 called for the forming of the League. In fact, Wilson was driven to his grave trying to fight for the American people to join.
But in answer to the question, because the notions were falsely assumed.

As less people actually sewed their own clothing and household goods, notions went out of retail favor. The League of Notions became antiquated and was disbanned in 1987.

you know...everyone has a different notion about how things should be done. Everyone thinks they are right and the other guys notions are messed up. So putting everyone together to try and work stuff out just was useless.
That's my notion on it, at least.

You mean League of Nation???- in that case is cause America didnt support it espcially the President at that time
