I think Robby Gordon's reputation cost him this race! Nascar new exactly what he was gonna do in spinning out Ambrose. That was Robby Gordon's Race and Nascar knows it!

moonraze2000...yes the tickets are expensive in Nascar just like the NFL, NBA and Baseball. I am not rich nor is my family, but i am still able to go to both races here in California. You don't need to be rich to see your favorite sport!

LongtimeNascarFan...I think thats why Ambrose wasn't so upset in the interview they had with him, cuz he knows he spun Robby out too.

The TV replay clearly showed Ambrose passing Gordon right in front of a corner worker madly waving a yellow flag. You can't do that.
In SCCA this wouldn't have been a close call. I think NASCAR just doesn't understand road racing (and I'm a big NASCAR fan).

Nascar really had to go out of its way to come up with this one.Knew the only thing they could say was Robby didnt maintain a caustious pace.Thats laughable when your being spun out by the guy behind you and yes, Robby's rep. is/was a factor in their reasoning.My gosh everyone including my dog knew Ambrose was going for a spin.

in case you will have asked this some month in the past i'd have pronounced David Regan. yet with the way this guy has been coming near here at present top now i think of David Reutimann stands the in basic terms right risk of picking up his 1st occupation Nascar sprint Cup win.

The first two "answers" make it seem like a redneck is a bad thing...yet they built this sport from the ground up. If you don't like rednecks, go to open wheel with the girls.
As for a response to the question, I totally agree. I think that nascar and the braodcasters did a poor job of explaning the scoring loops and why Gordon was moved back in the pack. I don't think that they intentionally moved him back, it is just what the next scoring loop showed. They would have done it to anyone. What really makes me the maddest is that no one is talking about what a jerk Ambrose is for getting into the back of Gordon under caution. He should be penalized by NASCAR also.

I Agree TOTALLY! When I was watching, I kept thinking that I surely had missed something. Obviously Not. Nascar has gone off the deep end! Robby Won this race fairly. And yes Nascar knows Robby well enough to know exactly what he would do. I Loved it when Robby showed his as_ ! I thought it was well deserved!

BOTTOM LINE HERE IS THAT ROBBY WAS SENT TO 12TH POSITION BY NASCAR!! HE FELT THAT HE WAS ABOVE RULES SET OUT BY SANCTIONING BODY(nascar) AND THAT HE COULD DO WHATEVER HE FELT LIIKE! HE SHOULD BE PENALIZED SEVERELY,3 RACES SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO REMIND HIM THAT HE DOESN'T RUN THE SHOW NASCAR DOES,AND WHEN TOLD TO MOVE TO 12TH FOR A RESTART THAT'S WHAT YOU DO! I ONLY BLAME NASCAR FOR RESTARTING RACE WITH GORDON IGNORING THEM! ROBBY HAS LOST A FAN TODAY AND AMBROSE HAS EARNED ONE! HIS PASS ON AMBROSE WAS REDICULOUS,ONE TIRE ON PAVEMENT ALL OTHERS ONTHE GRASS! REMEMBER LAST YEAR AT GLEN BUSCH RACE HE STARTED CUTTING CORNERS AND SMASHING INTO PEOPLE LIKE A FKN MORON! it just depends where the scoring loop is , not to go coverage when they went around the corner, and when the yellow came out...Ambrose was ahead when they started to wreck. and they was around the corner and no footage showed what happened...but if the yellow dropped when it happened Ambrose was ahead and Gordon was in 2nd....that is what is unclear what happened after that when gordon passed ambrose...but gordon should of never hit ambrose while under caution also..

I TOTALLY agree with you 1000%. Nascar screwed Robby because he's Robby. Wrecking is Racing, and they know it. They kinda ignored the 5 or 6 car mess right behind them...wonder why. Robby and Ambrose should have been restarted up front and let them race to the finish!
