Well Hun to start off try some online classes. Try them with your local college they may be less expensive than the big popular online schools. But after a while you can try to go to classes and work alot of people do it. It takes alot of dedication but I'm sure you can make it!!!! Good Luck! :)

Work until you can afford to go to school. It's hard to be patient sometimes, but enjoy your current job and put everything you have into it. This will not go unnoticed. Possibly it will evolve into something even bigger and better then you could imagine. Possibly you could get an Administrative position in the organization you work for currently. Just smile and be confident. Have courage and battle your fears. Don't settle for less than what you deserve. Don't sell yourself short.

Like said, you can take out loans or apply for financial help. Why not go to school and still work part time? I do it, and I go to school full time.
I always say one should never live their life in regret. If you don't do it now, you'll put it off, and it will "never" be a good time you may think. Trust me, if you want something, you should go for it no matter what other problems cross your way.

Community college is the lowest expense. Programs exist to help people like yourself in difficult situations. If a community college is in your area contact the registration office and ask to speak with a counselor. Contact your area unemployment office for education information. You don't need to be unemployed to seek their counsel. Is there a YWCA in your area? Do they have guidance or direction to offer. Look for tuition grants on line that you might qualify for based on your needs. You have to go looking for such information, it won't just come to you. Keep notes of those you speak to and of what they say. Go for an associates degree. Be prepared to put your personal life in neutral for awhile. Stay focused and work hard.

take one year off from school work two jobs and save all the money from job number 2.
talk to your local elected officials to see what financial aid you can get.
then return to school with the emergency money on the side and hopefully a grant from the elected officials.

Take out loans, you can defer payments until you graduate. Going to school and earning a degree will be the best investment that you will ever make.
