if these Prophet's are from God.
Is there anyway we can tell for sure, that these Prophet's are from God.
This is something I would really like to know,
as I have thinking about it. Have the Prophets ever made any mistakes, or are they always on the ball with their Prophecies.

Bible says if anybody says they are a Prophet of God and they ever say anything in Gods name that doesnt come true. He is a false prophet.

Thats how God told us to know if they are a false prophet.

*Update* Fine Ill prove it.

"But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."

"You may say to yourselves, 'How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?' If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him" (Deuteronomy 18:20-22 NIV).

First it says put that prophet to death if he speaks in my name.

Secondly they ask how do they know? He said if he says something in my name that doesnt happen then its not what I said.

Go back to number one. You put him to death. Its a false prophet. God said not be scared of him, but he didnt pass the test. Thus he is a false prophet. What he said didnt come to pass. And God said it has to come to pass or he is a false prophet.

All religions have prophets including atheistic religions.

You can never be certain of anything. What you believe is all a matter of faith when it comes down to it.

Even if you supposed a prophet had divine provinence, how can you be sure that a prophets message had been properly recorded and translated and that you had properly understood it. The message may only have been relevant for a particluar period in time, or for particular people or circumstances. Perhaps your God has sent out a new different message and you haven't heard it yet. What is the truth then?

The only Prophets we should listen to are the ones hand picked by God in The Bible. When the generations of the people of God's nation started to forget the laws of God,(The Laws of Moses), God would pick a Prophet to send to His people and warn them to go back to following God's laws to remove God's curse on them. The Laws of Moses never changed through out the whole Old Testament and the people were always forced to go back to them. The problem with Christians is that they think Jesus abolished The Laws of Moses which He did not. In fact Jesus was the one who wrote them and taught them to Moses on Mt. Sinai so why would He change His own laws? So now God has finally picked His next Prophet to once again teach not only HIs nation but all nations of the world The Laws of Moses and to warn them of the grave consequences if mankind desides not to follow them. And who is this Prophet? I am!

Pretty much all religions have 'prophets'. They keep springing up daily. Everything from the Church Of The Poison Mind to the Temple Of The Order Of Those Who Believe In Peanut Butter And Fluff.

See, religions are just made up cults that are afraid to take responsibility for their own decisions, so they invent a scapegoat, a god, a prophet, or a statue or something to blame their lives on.

Religions are pretty much for the weak, and those who are too immature to take responsibility for their own lives.

Always right and in line. And no I don't think there are any now days. Any error at all and the prophecy can't be from God.

You can tell they've from God by the products of their works. If they exhort people to raise their hearts and minds to God in going about their every day business, and love of their fellow man for God's sake, then their message can be listened to. If they pray for death and destruction on their enemies, then one has to question whether they are spreading love or hatred. The latter would mean they're not from God. Christians pray for the conversion and salvation of their enemies, not their death and destruction.

No "prophet" has ever been from god, and it's foolish to think so without any evidence and to just blindly believe it.
