i cant seem to even find songs on it! help! i just need help on where to get the songs on it?

i had a similar problem. when you first open limewire, you will notice 4 red bars on the bottom left of the program. thes bars indicate the connection to the lime wire server. people dont realize that they cannot start searching for songs while these bars are red. you have to wait until the bars all turn green before you start searching for songs.

cs_rvs is right about the bars, also if in the lower left bottom of the program screen has a earth with a brick wall in front of it, that means you have a firewall blocking the program from searching for songs. Grant permission for Limewire in your firewall program. BUT THATS ONLY IF YOU HAVE A FIREWALL.

well that could be a blessing, Limewire is the best for getting viruses, so think yourself lucky...
It is illegal to download copy right music, video, movies, and software, if your caught pirating the fines are very steep $75.000.00 and confiscation of your computer,,,
some people on here have already been warned about pirating... so stay clear of the copy right people they don't mess about, they will sue you rather than look at you,

well it should work by simply typing whatever you re looking for into the search box....now if nothing comes up then maybe you re not connected to the Internet and if you ARE connected then maybe your computer's firewall is blocking the program from getting on line
