waaay too young. listen, i'm 16 and i'm not aloud to date.. and i understand why. kids are pressured by everything these days.. media, friends, music.. and it definitely does affect them. why let your daughter date when shes not even going through puberty yet? because i dont have a boyfriend, i am much more focused on school and sports and i'm happy. trust me, she wont feel any pressure about kissing, drama, or even worse.. sex. dating leads to other things. just because a generation is 'all about' it doesn't mean its the right thing to do.

It's your daughter and if "you" think she's too young to date then she probably is. If she was my daughter she would not date at 11 and a half. The way the world is today, she would be real lucky to date until she was 50. Just a tad over-protective, ha ha. Just tell her no, and to come back in a couple years and ask again. lol.

I'm 14 years old, so I'm from this generation. I'd say that 11 years old is not too young to date this day in age, when I was that age when kids went out it only lasted for a few weeks at most. What will most likely happen is she'll date one of them and then they'll just break up, and she most likely won't get hurt or hurt anyone else. I remember when I was 11 and kids were going out they didn't even really like eachother, it was usually one thinking the other one was good looking and they just agreed to go out. If she really has feelings for a boy, I'd say let her go for it.

I am a 36 year old guy and have a very good relationship with a girl 11 years younger than me. It is working out very good. She too is very mature, intelligent and a wonderful person. Age is after all just a number. If they get along very well, why not hey? Tell her to go ahead an date, if it doesn't work out what does she have to lose in any case ?

jenny, i think that you should tell her no. its ok to flirt but a relatoinship would be to early for her. with everything in the world getting more complicated, who knows what ideas she could get or what she'll try. just tell her that she should date when she's 14 or 15. its a wait and she'll hate it but your saving her alot of trouble and wasted emotion.

TOO YOUNG.
get a strong relationship with your daughter and tell her shes way too young.
im 14, and i respect that my mom doesn't want me to date, so i don't.
give her rules and morals.
11 is WAY too young.
be a strong mom and don't let her run you over.
if she wants to date guys now, imagine how she will be when shes older.

I guess you didn't like the answers you got the first time you asked this? Once again you control when and where she sees these boys. So I don't see why she can't have a bf.
