today i sold my 88 accord, but while handing over the title to the buyer i forgot to put the odometer reading in there. can it cause any prob for me, if they dont bring the title for me to put the reading over there?
Kindly inform..

This unit is odometer exempt, because it is more than 10 years old. Make sure you do a release of liability with the DMV asap, and keep copies of it for your records.

the odometer reading only applies when the car is less than 8 years old!

Should not be a prob.........They have Car and title and the Clerk at DMV will make them go out into the parking lot and
get the mileage......
