How much it costs depends on where you get it done.
You clean it with antibiotic soap which cleans and lubricates it without drying it out. If you use alchohol it will dry it out and it will crust and not heal properly.
When you first have it done you need to clean it 3 times per day minimum.
After it's healed it's no different then pierced ears, you can take the jewelery out and it won't heal over.
It doesn't leave a scar but does leave two holes but they won't be very big, only large enough for the jewelery to go through. As the piercing is through the top part of your belly button lip so you can put the jewelery all the way through.
No, I don't think it looks sleezy or slutty, if I did I would not have had mine done. I am not a kid, I'm am a grown woman and my husband thinks it looks sexy when I wear clothes that show it.
However, you need to be careful when buying clothes afterwards, make sure if you wear pants or a skirt that does up at your waist that they are not tight, I just started wearing low rise pants and have no problem and choose a piece of jewelery that doesn't hurt if the belt presses on it when your sitting.
Also make sure you have at least one piece for the winter that won't catch on sweaters, if it does it will hurt.
If you have a flat stomach it looks amazing and very sexy not at all sleezy but I guess the jewelery you choose could change that if you so desired just like any jewelery.

I've had mine done for about 5 years now. I would guess it's about $40 or so nowadays. It would really depend on the shop you choose to do it. At first they'll put in a hoop that is cleaned with solution you can buy from them or an antibacterial solution from a drugstore. You'll want to be sure to spin the hoop around (and clean it) often so things don't get painful. You probably will end up with a little scar after removing the piercing. In my opinion, it would be the clothes that are worn with a piercing and the vibe a person gives off that makes them come off as "slutty" or not...not the piercing itself.

I had my belly button pierced when I was 17 and I love it! It cost me $40 (but that was in Idaho, so it may be more in bigger cities). It didn't hurt at all- and I'm a *wimp* when it comes to pain.
I think the state of 'slutty' is all in your mind or how you feel about yourself. I didn't see mine as slutty but just as a way to express ME.
Actually, I did take mine out for a while. Luckily I decided to put it back in before it was closed, but I didn't notice a scar forming- it may be my skin type though.
The best way to clean one is with salt water. If you go to a good piercing place they will give you a free sample of sea salt water that you can spray on it. NO MATTER WHAT- don't use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol!! Both will corrode the metal in the ring and leave the dirty stuff inside of your new piercing.... and trust me, you do not want to see what that turns into. ;)
Hope this helps

i have one and i'm certainly no slut! lol. if anyone says so kick their shins. lol, jk. i think it's sexy.
it's about 40 bucks to have it done depending on the piercer. don't forget to give a tip... it'll hurt less, lol.
cleaning is easy you just have to remember to do it. while you're taking a shower lather up some unscented soap (like dial or silk) and get it all over your hands, the piercing, and the jewelry. slide the jewelry up and down so the soap gets in there and cleans it out. then rinse it off
daily you will need to do a 10 minute sea salt soak. THESE ARE WONDERFUL. they allow you to heal faster and avoids getting keloids. put a pinch of sea salt in a dixie cup and a bit of water (as hot as you can stand). then bend over and place the cup over your navel. push it firmly against your skin so you won't spill and lay down to soak for TEN MINUTES. keep a towel handy for getting back up... i always spill.
don't worry if you happen to get a keloid. sea salt will take it away, within two weeks if you soak it twice a day. i had this happen.
if you remove it i'm sure it will leave a small one, but after a while it should fade.

I think its sexy. As long as you dont have a big belly.
If I was a female I would get my belly button pierced.
