If you served your country why does it even matter why you have cancer or the a-v-un bird flu, it has to be treated or you will die?

thanks desertviking more clearly; what about disabled vets that can not get any medical insurance (under 700$ a month) because they were orginally disabled in the military? Most are not asking for compensation for an additional injury or illness just treatment!

He has the honorable discharge, as does my Dad. He deserves the best our nation can offer, as do all honorably discharged Veterans.

The link will not open but I can only imagine what it says...American vets have been neglected and abused by their government when returning damaged from many of the conflicts the US has been involved in...the American government has no problem sending all there idealistic kids off to fight some war in a remote country most have never heard of, then when they return they are lucky to find a job and if wounded they are not treated at all like they should be..what I find astounding from the little I get without the video, is that the US government does not even supply them with insurance especially when wounded...as far as the doctor being kept quiet, and like I said I did not see the video, a Canadian doctor told a story of treating a wounded Canadian before he died and he is in deep trouble for it..it seems a country can wander through malls and get the kids to sign up for all the glory but the government does not want them and the people to know the fate that awaits some of them....anyway, I am sorry if I do not answer the question but I feel so strongly about this subject I did have to weigh in.

It matters. The conditions have to be treated. But, that does not mean the VA has to treat them. Those with service-connected conditions get priority. If you contract avian flu or any other condition while on unauthorized absence, as a result of your own misconduct or made it worse through your own willful neglect you won't get any disability compensation from the military either.

MY FRIEND LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT'S VERY TROUBLING TO ME. AT THE VA HOSP. MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO FAMILIES ARE BEING USED FOR RESEARCH AS ANIMALS WERE. I KNOW NURSES THAT HAVE GONE IN THE VA FOR TRAINING, AND WHAT THEY WITNESSED SHOULD NEVER BE USED ON MAN NOR BEAST. SOMETHING AS IF YOU WERE IN A HORROR FILM, UNBELIEVABLE........SECOND; THERE IS NO BIRD FLU, IT'S A MAN MADE FLU. THE BIRDS ARE BEING DESTROYED FOR NOTHING. THERE IS A DISEASE THAT WILD BIRDS CAN CARRY, BUT ITS NOT THE BIRD FLU. IF THE UNITED STATES SAYS THAT AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE TO HAVE THIS BIRD FLU VACCINE, THAT ITS MANDATED FOR ALL. THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING SO. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND YOU WILL SECRETLY BE (MICROCHIPPED THROUGH THE BIRD FLU VACCINE).
