Everytime the puppy eats or drinks take it outside and wait for it to poo or pee, when it does give it lots of praise. If the little fella has an accident inside, try to catch him or her in the act and run outside with him to make sure they know to go outside. Don't rub their noses in it or yell, this will make a timid animal that will pee because they are afraid. Just keep taking them outside, even a few times in the middle of the night to let them pee. It will work, just remember to praise them every time they go outside.

Crate training! I had to get up every 2-3 hours during the night when my pup was about 8 weeks old, it gets better though you just have to be patient. Remember a few things: Ignore the whining/crying--it'll make you sad but ignore it and he'll learn to stop. Take your pup to the same spot every time you take him out, and praise him when he goes in that spot. If you catch your pup going inside the house, do something that will startle him IN THE ACT--i.e. clap loud, make a loud sound, use a shaker can, these things will scare him and make his bladder seize up, then scoop him up quickly and take him outside to his spot where he can finish going, and praise him while he does so. Remember to not yell at your pup if he makes a mess inside and you don't catch him in the act--if you yell at him after the fact he won't know why you're yelling at him. He has to associate the "NO!" with the thing he's doing in that moment. Repetition and consistency are key, be patient and he will get it. It took my guy about 6-8 weeks. It sounds like hell and it is while you're going through it (no sleep!), but totally worth it in the end.

he should train in about a month. maybe less but may still have a few accidents. you'll have to rearrange your schedule at first. make sure you're up early enough to take him out. put him in the same spot each time and praise him when he goes. don't bring him in until he does. after he eats and has a drink, take him out again for a bit longer this time so he can play. watch him closely for a few weeks. if he starts sniffing or if you think he needs to go, take him out. he'll need to go out about every hour or so at first but as he grows that will lessen. if he does have an accident, don't yell or rub his nose in it. just be firm and tell him-outside and take him. he'll sleep alot too. take him out as soon as he wakes, every time. give him one final chance before you go to bed but don't be surprised if he wakes you to go in the middle of the night to. that's a good sign that he's learning. be patient and give lots of praise. he'll be your best friend. enjoy!
