1994 Dodge Dakota V6 3.9 Engine, After Drive'n it about 10 miles or less, it dies and wont start up till it cools off. I noticed it looses all fire. I changed Fuel unit, coil, Distributor unit, Cap and button, black mogel under the cap, brain (comp box), coil wire, 4 censers in the black box on the side of the firewall. It has 238,000 miles on it but still runs good within that 10 miles or less, hehe. Any Dodge Person that can help would be great, Thanks.

Check the bulkhead connector on the left side of the firewall. I have seen a number of them leak water into the connector and corrode the wires to the cab.

If not that, check the auto-shutdown relay (unless that is one of the parts already replaced). It is located in the black box (PDC) on the left wheel well.

It could also be the crank sensor located on the right side top of the trans bell housing. Hard to get too, but they have been known to fail at times too.

Looks like you covered all the bases, but new parts have been known to be bad. I had the same problem with my Dakota after putting in a rebuilt distributor. After dismissing the distributor as the problem, I spent $100-$200 to no avail.
I replaced the pickup coil in the distributor which was supposed to be new, and cured the problem.

I live in a mechanic family and were dodge ppl .What it sounds like is its out of time. And sum ppl say that cant be it would miss and stuff .Not neccesairly,it can be at that 10 minutes when it loses the right fuel air mixture then boggs the compression causing it to die. Then while its shut off the chambers clear out ,and thats why it starts back up.But before you get it timed or anything ask any mechanic and they will tell thats a great possibilty
