have you ever been accidentally scalded and burned in the shower? OR perhaps on a winter day turned it on COLD?

im asking because it always happens to me when im sleepy and go to the shower.

Strange question...why do you ask?
I think everyone at one time or another has dealt with a sudden, drastic change in water temp. during their shower but I wouldn't think enough to scald. (unless you are speaking figuratively)
What I do before I get in the shower is turn the water on and let it run while I get my towels ready and brush my teeth. By the time I'm done, the water has run long enough to get to the actual temperature that it will be during my shower. Then, I can adjust as needed.
Sounds like you need to slow down and "wake up" before you shower...OUCH!
