Take it like this,

3500 calories is 1 pound

take your weight times 12 if you are not very active, 13 if you are somewhat active and 14 if you are very active. This is how many calories you burn in a day.

So if that number comes out to 1800, and you eat 1000 calories a day, you will lose 1 pound in about 4 1/2 days. Sorry but there is no HEALTHY way to lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks.

Exercise on the treadmill for an hour a day 4 times a week and you can say you are somewhat active. Try and get your calories up to burning 2500 a day and then you can eat 1500 and lose a pound every 3 and a half days.

Hope this helps, keep track of yourself and it will come off little by little

You see when you set yourself up with a timeline then you are setting yourself up for failure.

Nobody's body will react the same as yours will while you are starting a new healthier way of living. This is what is important. What are your intentions after three weeks? Are you going back to the same lifestyle you lived before that put you where you are today?

If so don't even bother, because you are hurting your body more by bouncing back and forth, it is more sensible to think of new ways to improve your diet (and you have already started that) and you are so young your body isn't even fully developed yet, yes you are still making bones and teeth and muscles.

Remember even if you lose 1 lbs a week, take a pound of butter out and put it on the table , that is how much you have lost. Quite significant isn't it? You will eventually learn how your body reacts to certain foods, and which are better to keep you in shape and fit. Water is the best choice, pop is very bad for you, acne, obesity, hyper-tension are all side effects of consumming pop in great amounts.

You will feel good just don't drop your routine.

I love to dance that is my exercise. Good workout too. Luck

No one can give you a schedule. It depends on your fitness level. No point in telling you to run 2 hours a day for example if you can only manage 10 mins. Thats pretty good though interms of the water and diet. But, if you want to loose weight you shuold do the running as soon as you get up. IT does say morning I note, but is it before breakfast. Doing it before you eat goes straight to the fat source for energy and burns it all up!. If you have already eaten you will use that energy instead of the stored fat source.

Water is very good for you, glad you are drinking it
So are fruit and vegetables, plenty of vitamins etc and little fat calories which are exactly wat you dont want. Keep in mind that muffins have butter etc in them and are still a bit unhealthy even if it is a carrot muffin. Maybe substitute it with carrot sticks.

goodluck .
