i'm interested in wicca, but there's no person i can meet in real life (not internet) to teach me?

what can i do? no covens nearby (in costa rica, a catholic country) and the only people who might know something about it are foreigners and tourists,
even if a tourist is willing to help, he'll be gone soon

help! oh, and shipping books here is really expensive, no amazon account or credit card or whatever (hey, i'm only 13) and the only plausible way to get a book to me would be to e-mail my aunt and ask her to buy it and send it (my dad gave her money to buy and ship second hand books to us), and in that case, my dad would pick up the mail package himself (he always does) see the book, and ask me whats up, he's an atheist, i'm kind of embarrased to tell him i'm interested in this stuff, which he'll quickly point out all the arguements against god/s, ''religion is the opium of the masses'' tipe quotes, and all that. i know you can't hope to get a glimpse of wicca on the internet, but anything else? tha

Dear Alpha, I've been with the same curiosity that you have been speaking about and yes, there are no registered or official covens in the country, now, if you are truly interested in the craft, try and contact some friends of yours who are also interested in the craft.

Now regarding books i suggest that you google em, you will find tons of answers an free ebooks online, I know an understand you may want to recognize the authors for their efforts paying for the actual book, but sometimes it's hard from here....

Also, remember that the practice of witchcraft or wicca can be performed by yourself and even by your own methods you can become self initiaded, if you have not started practicing any rituals yet, i suggest to begin with the creation of your own book of shadows now...

I understand you're being sensitive (to your dad's Q&A)...However, I've found if you let him rant his bit or however he may ask his questions, if you stay quiet, he'll eventually run out of things to say and hopefully calm down enough to be reasonable.
