Trying to find gay friendly places, and gay nightlife in Catalina Island CA.

Are you talking about the main city there, Avalon? If I recall correctly there aren't many "gay" clubs or the such...but it's sure its fun whether or not your gay. (they have cool club there you can do karaoke and stuff..)

Catalina is to small to be that specific. there are fun things to do there that mostly have to do with ocean sports. There are no specific gay bars etc. If you want some action in the SoCal area go into Laguna Beach. It has many Gay friendly clubs and restaurants and is quite well known. the town is gorgeous and fun.

there are helicopter flights for $150 ow they leave from either San Perdon or the Queen mary there two ferries companies one is catlaia express (they have terminals at dana Point, Long beach (two termiinals here (one at Queen mary and the other on Golden shore (downtown Long beach and then san Perdo then there catalina ferries that operates out of Marina del rey (this is a lot closer to Lax as well) now what do on the island? take one of the glass bottom boat trip take tour of catalina, sunbath, rent a bike (or a golf carts)

Avalon is a very small town..no specific gay bars...or clubs. There are several bars there and one night club for anyone and everyone. Also, lots of opportunity for water sports..kayaking, parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or just hanging at the beach. You can also hike, go to restaurants, shop, play miniture golf, go on a train tour, rent a golf cart, ride a glass bottom boat, etc.

there are only about 6 streets in the "city", i never seen any gay specific places..
